1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of VPSRated.com (the "Service"), operated by Jaouad Tijani ("we", "us"). By accessing the Service or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
You must be at least 16 years old to use VPSRated.com. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
2. The Service
VPSRated.com is an independent hosting comparison and review platform. We publish:
- Editorial reviews and rankings of hosting providers (VPS, VDS, RDP, dedicated, GPU, VPN, proxy, and related categories).
- User-submitted reviews and ratings.
- Pricing tables, benchmarks, and comparison tools.
- Guides, tutorials, and articles about hosting topics.
- Promotional codes and deals from partner providers.
We do not sell hosting, resell hosting, or operate any of the providers listed. We are a review and recommendation service.
3. User accounts
You can register a free account to leave reviews, save favorites, and manage comparisons. When you create an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful information.
- Keep your password secure and not share it with anyone.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
- Be responsible for all activity under your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. User content & reviews
When you submit a review, comment, or any other content to VPSRated ("User Content"), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, adapt, and distribute that content for the operation and promotion of the Service.
4.1 Review standards
Reviews must be based on your own genuine experience with the provider. We explicitly prohibit:
- Fake reviews — positive or negative — written without real experience.
- Reviews written by providers about themselves or their competitors.
- Reviews in exchange for payment, free services, or other compensation, unless clearly disclosed.
- Content that is defamatory, threatening, harassing, or illegal.
- Personal attacks on individuals at provider companies.
- Spam, promotional content, or off-topic material.
We moderate reviews but do not endorse individual user opinions. Reviews that violate these standards will be removed. Repeat offenders will be banned.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or related systems.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to compromise the security of the Service (DDoS, scraping at abusive rates, etc.).
- Use bots or automated means to submit reviews, create accounts, or manipulate rankings.
- Resell, redistribute, or create derivative products from our content without written permission.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
6. Affiliate disclosure
Affiliate relationships never influence our editorial rankings. Our review methodology is documented on our About page. Sponsored placements are always clearly marked as "Sponsored" on the card and in the listing. You can always buy directly from providers without using our links.
Provider rankings are determined by objective criteria (benchmarks, uptime monitoring, user review aggregates, support response times), not by affiliate payout.
7. Intellectual property
All content on VPSRated.com — including editorial articles, review summaries, benchmark data, comparison tables, logos, and the VPSRated name — is owned by or licensed to Jaouad Tijani / VPSRated.com and is protected by copyright and trademark law.
You may:
- View, download, and print pages for personal, non-commercial use.
- Link to any public page on VPSRated.com.
- Quote brief excerpts with proper attribution and a link back.
You may not:
- Republish our articles in whole or substantial part without written permission.
- Use our logo, name, or trademarks in a way that implies endorsement.
- Scrape the site or use its data to build a competing comparison product.
Provider logos and brand names belong to their respective owners and are used under fair-use review rights.
8. Third-party links and services
VPSRated.com contains links to third-party websites (primarily hosting providers). We don't control these sites and aren't responsible for their content, privacy practices, pricing accuracy, or quality of service. When you leave VPSRated, you are subject to the terms and privacy policy of the site you visit.
We make good-faith efforts to keep provider information current, but pricing, specifications, and availability change frequently. Always verify final details on the provider's own site before purchasing.
9. Disclaimers
Specifically, VPSRated does not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
- The information on the site is complete, current, or accurate.
- The results obtained from using the Service will meet your requirements.
- Any specific hosting provider will meet your needs or perform as described.
Our reviews, rankings, and recommendations are editorial opinions based on our testing and user feedback. They are not professional advice for your specific technical, business, or compliance requirements.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall VPSRated.com, Jaouad Tijani, or any affiliated party be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service, including:
- Lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
- Decisions made based on information from the Service.
- Service interruptions, errors, or security incidents.
- Outages, data loss, or poor performance by any third-party provider you choose based on our reviews.
Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed USD $100 or the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months (which for free accounts is zero), whichever is greater.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VPSRated.com, Jaouad Tijani, and affiliated parties from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service.
- Content you submit (reviews, comments, etc.).
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of any third-party rights (including intellectual property or privacy rights).
12. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard or by emailing us.
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without notice, if:
- You violate these Terms.
- We're required to do so by law or valid legal process.
- You engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
Provisions which by their nature survive termination (IP rights, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will continue to apply.
13. Changes to these terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
14. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Casablanca, Morocco.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
